Structural Requirements of Automobile Inspection Tools

1. The measuring fixture (measuring bracket) consists of three parts:
(1) Body part
(2) Skeleton and base part
(3) Functional parts (functional parts include positioning pins, movable clearance sliders, profile clamping plates, etc.)

2. Material selection of checking fixture (measuring bracket) Body part: Large inspection tools: steel, cast aluminum and aluminum alloy (LY12) can be selected. Small and medium-sized inspection tools: resin (RS460/470 or BM5166) can be selected. The specific material used must be confirmed and agreed by the young automobile inspection engineer.

3. The skeleton and base structure of the inspection tool. The material of the skeleton and base of the fixture can be cast aluminum (ZL104), aluminum alloy (LY12) or A3 steel plate.

(1) All bases and bolt connections shall have sufficient strength.
(2) The base of the measuring instrument is larger than the assembly, and the excess part of the base can be used as a storage pin and other measuring instruments.
(3) Check the assembly and the single piece at the same time. The skeleton and shape of the inspection tool can be made into a separate type, but the link part of the base should be fixed with bolts and pins.

4. Forklift hole inspection tools should ensure that the forklift is inserted, which is convenient for loading, unloading and handling. Therefore, the dimensions and bearing weight of the forklift should be fully considered when designing inspection tools.

5. Lifting lug. The lifting lug is a cast-in-one structure, so the large load-bearing capacity must be considered when designing the inspection tool. The lifting lug is usually arranged on the four diagonals of the upper part of the base table.

6. Benchmark hole assemblies and single pieces are usually positioned by two positioning pins, and large and medium-sized assemblies are positioned by fixed pins; Small assemblies and single pieces are positioned by fixing pins or bolts. The location is specified according to MCP instructions.

7. Positioning surface and supporting surface
